Job Title Scientific Team Leader: Cell Line Development
Description The position will focus on CHO and HEK cell culture and stable recombinant cell line development. Successful applicants will be involved in establishing the use of cutting edge antibody expression, and clonal cell selection techniques.

The Role of the Team Leader: Cell Line Development Scientist:
Manage a team of scientists in developing stable cell lines
Manage multiple projects and deliver within agreed timelines
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure timely delivery of projects
Perform hands-on, high-throughput cell culture and screening to identify the optimum clones
Process development
Media optimisation
Write, update and maintain SOPs
Write detailed reports for clients and internal projects
Maintain lab notebooks
Manage stock reagents and equipment within the Cell Line Development Lab
Attend Research and Production meetings and present data
Update clients on project progress via TC and meetings
Assist Business Development by providing technical know-how during conference calls
Attend international conferences on Cell Line Development to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies, and introduce new technologies into the lab

Education PhD in Molecular Biology or related discipline
Experience Experience in stable cell line development of CHO cells
Hands-on experience in industry developing high-yield recombinant antibody cell lines
Knowledge of antibody purification techniques
Knowledge of media preparation

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within agreed timelines
Work experience
